Lactation Support

Breastfeeding can be both rewarding and challenging. Our lactation services are designed to help you navigate breastfeeding with confidence, whether you're facing challenges or seeking guidance. We offer one-on-one consultations, breastfeeding workshops, and community support groups.

Initial Lactation Consultation

In this one-on-one session, we’ll assess your breastfeeding goals, address any challenges you’re facing, and create a personalized plan that suits you and your baby’s needs. Whether you’re a first-time mother or have breastfed before, we provide tailored support to guide you through every stage.

Latch and Positioning Assistance

Proper latch and positioning are crucial for a comfortable and effective breastfeeding experience. We’ll work closely with you to demonstrate and practice different breastfeeding positions, ensuring both you and your baby are comfortable. If your baby is having difficulty latching, we’ll offer practical strategies to help improve feeding.

Postpartum Follow-Up Support

Breastfeeding doesn't stop at birth, and neither does our support. We offer follow-up consultations to address any ongoing breastfeeding issues, from engorgement and milk supply concerns to questions about pumping and storing breast milk. We’re here to help you navigate the early weeks and months of breastfeeding with confidence.

Breastfeeding Education Workshops

Our workshops are designed for both expecting and new mothers. We cover a wide range of topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding, understanding milk supply, common breastfeeding myths, and how to overcome challenges. These group sessions also provide a supportive environment where you can connect with other mothers.

Breastfeeding Challenges & Solutions

We provide specialized support for common breastfeeding challenges such as:

  • Nipple pain or damage: We’ll help you identify the cause of the discomfort and offer solutions to heal and prevent further issues.

  • Low milk supply: We’ll work with you to implement strategies to boost your supply, including tips on diet, hydration, and using breast pumps.

  • Oversupply or engorgement: We can guide you in managing an overabundant milk supply to ensure both you and your baby are comfortable.

  • Pumping support: For mothers returning to work or those who choose to pump, we’ll offer guidance on selecting the right pump, creating a pumping schedule, and properly storing milk.

Ready to start your journey?

Whether you’re just starting your breastfeeding journey or encountering challenges along the way, we’re here to provide compassionate, culturally competent support tailored to your needs.
